FHS Programs - 1997 Update

You may download the full set of files for the 1997 update to the public version of the Family History System by clicking on the file size below. There is also a list of program files in this update. You can click on the program name to view a description of changes introduced in the 97 Update of the software.

All downloadable files are in ZIP format and must be uncompressed into a FAMILY directory on your hard drive.

Among the programs listed below are those that support extended options, provided only to registered users of FHS. If you are a registered user and have previously received a full Sept 97 update from me, then you can email me a request for updates to the registered programs.

If you have previously installed the 1997 Update of the Family History System and the date for the FHS runtime library is earlier than the date shown for FHSRUN below, then you must download the full set of files (above) to update your software. If your runtime library has the same date as shown then you need only download individual program files that include changes that you want to receive.

Click on a program name to see a list of changes introduced in the 1997 update. Click on a date (when present) to see a list of subsequent changes to the program. Click on a file size (when present) to download a ZIP file containing the most recent copy of the program.
