FHSLIST - Search/Select/LIST Program
  1. Program is now a part of the basic set of programs. (Sub options that require use of an Index File will still only be of use to registered users.)
  2. Select ID option (F3) has new features:
    1. Select BASE
      1. "Current File" - Allows choosing as Base set: only current Primary selections, only current Secondary selections, combined primary and secondary selections, or the "complement" of currently selected records...that is, the new primary selections will be those ID's which are neither primary or secondary selections in the current selection set...the secondary selections remain the same;
      2. "Full File", allows choosing the whole file as BASE, or choosing all records not in the existing selection set
      3. "Relationship File", allows selecting ID's found in previously created Relationship WRK file
      4. "Select File", allows all File options of the programs F7 option
      5. "None", allows beginning with NO Selected records
    2. Change RULES, has new search options for selecting IDs:
      1. with Name Record Comments
      2. with Father and Mother status field values of ? or *
      3. with Birth/Death date status field values of ? or !
    3. Apply Rules, (Primary selections are those that Pass Rules, Secondary selections are additional records chosen because of relation to primary selections)
      1. when current Selection set has both Primary and Secondary selections, have option of applying rules to Only Primary, Only Secondary, or all previously selected records
      2. New Secondary Selection option of "Siblings" of primary selections
    4. New Edit LIST option, allows viewing and modifing list of selected ID's.
  3. Report options now include:
    1. Detail Report
      1. when current Selection set has both Primary and Secondary selections, report can include Only Primary, Only Secondary, or all selected records
      2. Can be printed in Fixed Format (as before), Free Format, or TimeLine Format (as with the Ancestor, Descendant, and Relative detail reports)
      3. Options for not printing heading or footing allows creating sequential file of information which can be read by other programs.
      4. Option for printing multiple spouses from First to Last instead of Last to First (which is the order that marriages are stored in the file).
    2. Summary Reports (this replaces the summary report options of the previous "Summary Report/RELCALC" program). Produces Ancestor or Descendant summary reports or Relationship Table for Selected records. The previous Surname Summary Report has been generalized to an "Indexed Summary Report", which will provide a summary of information grouped by the primary sort key of an Index File. This key could be Surname, Given Name, Birth Date, Birth Place, Marriage Date, Death Date, Death Place, or Sex Code. Further, the Date summary reports can be on the full date or a part of the date (Year, Month, or Day).
