The Screen Format Definition File, FHSFMTS.SDF (or PUBSFMTS.SDF in the public version) contains the definitions for all formatted screen displays. The formats are stored in groups identified by a four character group ID. There is one group for each FHS program (the table ID is the last 4 characters of the program name) and another group, XXXX, containing formats that are used by multiple programs.

System option F3-B-F4-2 allows you to print a report showing the screen format definitions (including a representation of the formatted screen). It also allows you to customize the text that appears on the screen.
