- 09/26/98 - Correct error in File Summary Report (produced in file update program) that occurs when there are more than 32767 comment lines for all name records; modify to show age as "**" in report programs when it is a negative number (birth date later than death date)
- 08/11/98 - Correct re-linking of Marriage records when spouse ID changed to zero
- 08/09/98 - Changes to support Long Place Names for Event Records
- 08/09/98 - Correct error in inserting marriage record between other marriage records
- 08/06/98 - Changed to provide support for new Long Place Name record
- 07/01/98 - Changed to write family file header records at the time that they are changed instead of just at the time that the file is closed.

- 01/28/98 - Corrected "Select Work Build" routine to properly close an open family file at the end of the routine. (This had caused problems in the file update program if a selection list were created after updates had been made to the file.)

a few other changes to file handling routines to correct some possible errors when file has bad pointers;
