FHSHBOX - Horizontal Box Chart Program (formerly, FAMGENCH, the Generalized Box Chart program)

1. Function key F7 used to change program mode (Ancestor, Descendant, Family Path)
2. May show either Father/Mother parent code or lineage number in boxes of Ancestor Chart. (If both are selected then only lineage numbers will be shown.) Parent codes are obtained from the Abreviations in the Relationship Table of the Report Definition file;
3. If line reference index is selected and boxes may span boxes (either by option or because "Centered" alignment is used) then references only appear on first/last strip(s). If boxes are not to span boxes, then line references appear on every strip printed;
4. A Column Reference line may be printed at the top of the page;
5. Refrences in a chart index (printed by FHSRPIX) are of the form: mm-nn:xx where mm=page number, xx = chart line number and xx = column number
6. Among the customization options for the Chart Summary report is a MULTIPLY variable which provides the scaling factor (width of single character in the standard unit of length) allowing the estimated chart width to be in units other than "feet" (which is the default)
7. New option "Combine Data Lines (Y/N/A)" provides control over placing birth/death dates and places on single data line when allowed by chosen box width ("Y" allows placing birth/death dates and places on a single line, except will not place birth place and death date on same line; "A" removes exception)
