FHSVBOX - Vertical Box Chart Program (formerly, FAMDESCH, the Descendant Chart program)
- Program now produces either Ancestor or Descendant charts in Vertical Box Chart format
- May show either Father/Mother parent code or lineage number in boxes of Ancestor Chart. (Only parent codes are used for Mini charts; if both are selected for Standard chart, then only lineage numbers will be shown.) Parent codes are obtained from the Abreviations in the Relationship Table of the Report Definition file;
- Box boundaries can be omitted from printing of standard chart
- If line reference index is selected, then it will only appear along the left side of the chart. The line numbers shown are not the line number of the page, but the (data) line number of the chart, excluding headings and page breaks.
- A line is printed at the top of the chart numbering the columns by the generation number
- Refrences in a chart index (printed by FHSRPIX) are of the form: mm-nn:xx where mm=page number, xx = chart line number (not page line number) and xx = generation level
- New option "Combine Data Lines (Y/N/A)" provides control over placing birth/death dates and places on single data line when allowed by chosen box width ("Y" allows placing birth/death dates and places on a single line, except will not place birth place and death date on same line; "A" removes exception)
- Displays message showing required box data width when entered data width causes information to be truncated
