- Allows Merging RDF Files
- Global Definition Elements:
- Tables - Language Dependent code values used in reports
- GENDER - Male, Female, Unknown Gender codes
- MONTHS - Three character Month codes
- RELCODES - relationship codes, abbreviations and longer codes
- REFERENC - reference codes used in report/chart index
- EVENTS - Descriptive labels for types of events
- Variables - Code associated with substitution value; Codes used in definition of Report Headings/Titles/Footings
- STDHDLN - Definition of First Heading Line in default report definitions:
Date [DATE]<>Time [TIME]
- STDFTLN - Definition of Footing Line in default report definitions: <>
- BLANKPG - Message that appears on blank pages used to pad to even number of pages
- COPYRITE - Format for attribution line that may be placed at bottom of each report page:
- Field Definitions - Field data widths; Field Labels; Fields have three types of associated literals:
- Abbreviations - used in charts
- Labels - used in free format reports
- Headings - used in columnar reports
- Global Options - Report Options which may not appear among the individual report options
- Report Definition Elements:
- Variables - Unique for Report; may override global variables
- Field Labels/Headings - may override global field definitions
- Heading/Title/Footing Definitions
- System Variables - DATE, TIME, PAGE, AL1,...,AL5, RPTNAME, SUBJECT
- The symbols "<<" and ">>" can separate the text in portions that will be left, right adjusted or centered, as follows: Left Adjust<>Right Adjust
- Options - Each report has selected options from master list whose values may be set within report program
