FHSGDCM - Changes to GEDCOM Export/Import program
- 05/08/00 - Correct error that occured when importing a PAFv21 GEDCOM file which (incorrectly) included duplicate FAMS tags within an II record (the program would loop when "Reversing Sequence of Children")
- 09/19/99 - correct failure to export COUNTRY field from Long Address records
- 11/23/98 - correct error in exporting long format end of marriage place name
- 08/28/98 - corrected import of value for Event Importance level
- 08/12/98 - added message GDCMM057 for end of conversion to Long Place Name support
- 08/09/98 - changes to support Long Place Names for Event Records
- 08/07/98 - Corrected to create Event records with RTYPE=6 instead of RTYPE=11; correct creation of Event records for input "BURI", "CHR" and "BAPT" tags
- 08/06/98 - Added option (F7-2) for converting Name File to allow the use of Long Place Names; changes to program to support use of Long Place Names during import and export (if Name File supports Long Place Names then will no longer provide option for storing long place names in comments during import, however place names > 41 characters long will still be noted in error report)
- 05/18/98 - Corrected error when exporting using FHSv1 and Long Address; also last component of phone number exported in FHSv1with Short format addresses only had 3 digits; corrected failure of FHSv2 to export parent ID status fields
- 05/14/98 - Changed to use GDIM report variables "MARRIED" and "PARNTREC" to set the Marriage Status field values during import
- 02/22/98 - Change export of phone number of Long Address records to FHSv1 style GEDCOM to convert to xxx-xxx-xxxx format where possible; make routine for unformatting phone numbers during import to Short Address records more general
- 02/19/98 - Correct discrepancies between FHSv1 GEDCOM files in Jan 93 update and Sept 97 update (FHS 93 expected space before given name; FHS 97 expected all marriage records in GEDCOM file to follow all name records); correct some problems with exporting of child/sibling relationships when only some of children have been selected for export
- 02/11/98 - Correct "Subscript out of Range at ERL=1074" during Import
- 01/15/98 - Corrected errors in handling adoption information:
- FHSv1 - failed to export or import father/mother status fields
- PAFv21 - failed to import adoption information
- LDSv55 - failed to export or import adoption information
- 01/09/98 - Corrected failure to export death dates of form 00-00-9999 for FHSv1 style GEDCOM
- 10/01/97 - Changed format of exported Name using FHSv1 to be compatible with previous versions of FHS
- 09/30/97 - Changed to prompt for okay to delete GEDCOM file if it exists at the beginning of GEDCOM Export (new message GDCMM055)
