(09/23/24) - Corrected error in FHSW2018 producing ASUM02.pdf report
(09/22/24) - Added missing ASUM02.pdf (Vertical Format Ancestor Generations report) in sample reports here and in FHSWIN-HELP. Changed ASUM01.pdf (Horizontal Format report) to conform to information in vertical format report.

(03/31/23) - Added "Sharing Data" procedure documentation to the FHSWIN.HELP file; I have also made changes to reorganize the FHS website to remove some redundant information. If you run across any "broken" internal links, try "refreshing" the page you are using and try the link again. Let me know if you find any "persistent" broken links.

(03/03/23) - Documented removal of "Change" command button on the FHSWPRNT form in the FHSWIN-HELP documentation for FORMS.
(02/25/23) - Corrected errors when updating date fields with date formats other than MM/DD/YYYY. Corrected "Browse" process in form for creating NodeReference files for box charts.
(08/29/21) - Changed description of FHSWView form in FHSWIN-Help to describe changes made yesterday...and a few other corrections.
(08/28/21) - Corrected problem when viewing very large charts (long or wide).
Very long charts (e.g. ancestor Maps with "Continuous Forms" option), where scrolling down reaches an "unfinished bottom", can be continued by using the "Page" control on the bottom line to continue the chart. Very wide charts (e.g. horizontal box charts when printed with the Full Width option) will only "show" about 500 characters of each line. Use the "Offset" control on the bottom line to advance the starting position for each line.
The new "Line" value on the bottom line is the number of the print line at the top of the currently displayed "Page".
(08/26/21) - Eliminated the display of "No Header Record Present" message when importing some GEDCOM files.
(08/10/19) - Corrected error using "List" command on Search/Select/LIST form; Additions to FHSWSLCT form description in FHSWIN-Help.
(08/09/19) - When "<" (list box) command is executed the first time, the "List box" shows the progress in building the list...helpful when processing verrrry large family files.
(08/03/19) - Added link to Getting Started if the "default" Family File cannot be opened when working session begins; et al

(07/10/19) - Added option to Ancestor (Generation) Summary report to optionally count and list ancestors with only one parent (O1P option) recorded in the file. This is similar to the NOP option which counts and lists Ancestors with NO Parents (these are the terminal ROOT ancestors). Have also Updated the FHSWIN-Help folder with some additional sample REPORTS and links from the FORMS to the REPORTS.
(06/30/19) - Several changes to the "Search/Select/LIST" program and the reports that it produces, with additional changes to Summary Reports, including enhancements to the new "YSUM" (Decades) report, as well as the "LIST" and "INDX" reports. Added an "OTHER" Event Code and changed the text for the heading of the "Main Menu" form (for the last time?). Also corrected a few errors that I've encountered and have updated the FHS-HELP folder. I've also provided you access to that folder in the "Online/Offline HELP" option above.
(06/17/19) - This includes many changes to Summary Reports. Also, the "- FHSW2018" text has been removed from the heading of the "Main Menu" form, though the executable program file remains "FHSW2018.exe" for now. These report changes required updates to the system .TDF, .MDF, .RDF and .DAT files. The updated files are included in the download package. If you have made changes to any of the default report options, you will have to reSAVE those into the new .RDF file as you use the updated software.

(04/23/19) - Changes/Corrections involving EVENT records; Event "Descriptions" have been changed; Event "Description" appears in reports instead of Event CODEs. (Event "Descriptions" are from the EVENTS table in the FHSTABLE.TDF system file, which may be viewed using Main Menu option: "Utilities/Customization/System Tables")

(04/17/19) - Corrected inability to enter multi-character numeric fields.
(04/15/19) - Added support for Creating/Updating EVENT Records under individual's name record. Updated FHSWIN-Help folder to include the FHSEVNT form. Corrected inability to enter data in single character fields.
(03/21/19) - Added "REPORTS" option to "About/Help" on Main Menu; made "FHSWIN-Help" folder a separate down-loadable item on the "DownLoad" page.

09/18/18 - Adjust width of "Select" buttons in FHSWPARE.
08/31/18 - Correct error using form FHSWLIST to find FID or MID while adding a new name record.
08/29/18 - Changes to form FHSWLIST to hilite its dual purpose for showing lists of All Name records in the file and of SELECTED Name records. Corresponding changes to documentation file FHSWIN.pdf.
08/27/18 - Corrections to handling of long place names in file update program; changed FHSWLIST form to extend list if name records have been added.
08/22/18 - Corrected failure to print birth/death dates in box charts.
08/20/18 - Corrected error in updating Phone Number of long format addresses; Changed "About" version to "August 2018"
07/01/18 - recent changes include printing of Report Indexes, Update of Configuration parameters, listing of Tables (in .TDF file) and Messages in (.MDF file), Relative Sequence Number (RNUM) in Relative Report, and correction of many, though not all existing errors.
