FHS Programs - Jan 1993 Update

The Family History System programs are provided here as a single large, but compressed, file containing the Quickbasic Runtime library and the 18 programs that make up the public version of the software. The date next to the file name indicates the date on which the last change was made to any of the programs in the set. If you click on the date, you will be shown a list of all modifications that have been made to the programs since the Jan 93 update was first released. Click on the file Size to begin the download.

There are also separate compressed files for individual programs that have been modified since the Jan 93 update of FHS was first sent out. The date shown next to the program name indicates the date that the program was last changed. If you click on that date, you will be shown a description of all changes that have been made to the program since Jan 93.

Those who have previously installed the Jan 93 update of FHS can just download those programs that have more recent change dates than the ones that they now have. After expanding the contents of the Zip file, copy the resulting program to the \FAMILY directory to bring the software up-to-date.


The next file provides support for the extended options of FHS that were previously made available only to registered users of the programs. Many of these options have been made part of the public version of FHS in the 1997 update. Please note that the index files created by the Jan 93 update are not compatible with the 1997 Update of FHS.
