Main Menu "About" Option

This Main Menu option provides some information that may be useful to the FHS user. The two sub-options in the drop-down menu are:
Version which shows form FHSWINFO that shows the date that the FHSWIN program was last updated.
Help provides access to several sources of information about the Family History System in the form of:
Manual - which opens a Manual for the software as a PDF document. At this time, the manual is the one that was prepared for the last DOS version of FHS. Although the two versions (FHS97 and FHSWIN) differ greatly in appearance and operation, the manual does contain useful information about the FHS Family File design and the Reports that are produced.
FORMS - which opens up this introduction to FHSWIN through the visual aspect of the user interface
REPORTS - which provides access to some Sample FHS Reports in PDF format. These files, from the FHS Web Site were created with the DOS version of FHS more than 20 years ago, but FHSWIN will produce the same reports, and more.
WWW - if you have internet access, this should provide access to the FHS Web Site. There you can find out about the most recent changes to the software and download the files that will bring your copy of FHSWIN up to date.
