Brown Bag Lunch

Web-Based Panels and Survey Research

Wednesday, December 17, 12:00 - 1:30 p.m.

Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida
111 South Gadsden Street
Tallahassee, Florida

Presentation Description:
Web-based panels in survey research are growing in popularity.  However, the ability of these panels to meet the scientific standards required in social science research is debatable.  During this session, we will share information collected from web-based panel service providers or presented in published sources.  Three service providers that will be mentioned during the discussion are e-Rewards, MarketTools, and Knowledge Networks.  Those who have conducted surveys using web-based panels or are interested in this method for their evaluation research are welcome to join us.  Contact Mary Kay Falconer at mfalconer@ounce.org for more information about this session.

Facilitator:   Mary Kay Falconer, Ph.D., Senior Evaluator, Research, Evaluation and Systems Unit, Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida
